Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Neuro

About the role

Full-time Med Surg - Neuro role on day shifts, with a focus on providing direct patient care according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient quality of life.
• Develop personalized care plans through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure culturally sensitive, ethical, and holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Mentor colleagues and integrate evidence-based practices.
• Ensure safety and perform point-of-care testing as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state with BLS certification from AHA.

Physical requirements

• Constant speech, standing, walking.
• Frequent lifting, sitting, vision, hearing.
• Occasional patient handling or movement.
