Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical - Full-Time Night
About the role
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices. Demonstrates expertise in assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes, integrating safety, quality improvement, and cost containment. Develops individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, updating them based on patient condition changes. Performs direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality continuously. Ensures safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards are met, including licensure and organizational policies. Engages in performance improvement activities, evaluates care effectiveness, and participates in quality audits. Provides patient and family education, advocating for their needs and coordinating seamless care transitions. Maintains professional licensure, pursues ongoing development, and reflects on practice standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum of one year RN experience or equivalent through residency programs or LPN experience.
- Current RN license recognized in the practice state.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
