Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full-Time, Day Shift

Role Overview

Provide comprehensive nursing care in both office and patient care areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control policies.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in patient education and support across all age groups.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSc in Nursing preferred.
• Current NYS RN license required.
• Experience in acute or ambulatory care settings preferred.
• Professional certification in nursing specialty and relevant skills certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) are a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Fast-paced setting involving walking, standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to disinfectants. Work in proximity to staff and patients in climate-controlled rooms, following infection control policies.

Patient Care

Serve patients of all age groups, with access to non-restricted patient information per HIPAA Level 3 standards.
