About the Role

The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Maintain standards of practice and professional accountability.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned staff to ensure optimal care.
• Provide patient-centered care using nursing processes.
• Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth.
• Obtain and maintain required specialty certifications within designated timeframes.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the relevant state; BCLS certification required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred; new graduates eligible.
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialty-specific credentials.
