About the role
Contract length: 13 or 26 weeks. Depending on unit needs, could be placed on various units with a mix of medical patients and specialties including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patients (GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies). Night shift with staffing ratio of 1:5-6; may flex to 7-8 patients with LPN support. Floating typically occurs once per week.
Schedule
- Night shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3x12 hours
- 36 or 48 hours available per week
- Every other weekend
- No block scheduling
Requirements
- Michigan RN License
- BLS (AHA) – pending accepted if willing to obtain
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience (2 years preferred)
