About the role
Provides high-quality, holistic nursing care in a Med-Surg unit, ensuring patient safety and effective care planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate patient care, implementing personalized care plans and monitoring patient conditions.
- Serve as a communication hub among healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Accurately observe, document, and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
- Manage physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge plans for smooth transitions.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure from the applicable state nursing board.
- BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.
