Responsibilities
- C conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health
- M monitor vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators to detect changes in patient conditions
- R recognize and act on warning signs of deterioration, such as changes in heart rate, respiratory rate, or mental status
- S safely administer prescribed medications (oral, IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular) and monitor for adverse effects or allergic reactions
- P provide patient education on their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery and prevent readmission
- C communicate effectively with doctors, specialists, physical therapists, and social workers to develop and adjust care plans
Qualifications
- Educational requirements: Current and valid state RN License. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Training: Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
