Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical

About the Role

This role involves coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and therapies, and evaluating outcomes. It requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, along with providing education and advocacy. The nurse supervises department activities, maintains equipment and supplies, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Current RN license in the practice state
• Certifications: BCLS (mandatory), ACLS and PALS within six months
• Up to 1 year of experience

Work Environment

Well-lit, ventilated hospital setting with exposure to potential hazards; occasional travel required.
