Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Seeking newly graduated or entry-level registered nurses to join a comprehensive nursing team. The RN will be responsible for coordinating patient care, providing direct care, patient and family education, and facilitating transitions of care. They will support professional nursing practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ANA standards. The role includes leadership activities such as precepting, participating in quality improvement, and mentoring colleagues. All new nurses are automatically enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program with extensive orientation. The position requires current MN RN license and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross. Preferred qualifications include one year of RN or LPN experience. Eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring licensure and certification completion. The position is full-time, with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, including every third weekend and holiday rotation.
