Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Position Summary:

Captures total nursing care for patients, engages in patient and family education, and leads by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care teams to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical environment.

Accountabilities:

• Complies with ethical and professional standards as outlined by the ANA Code for Nurses, ANA Nursing’s Social Policy Statement, Michigan Public Health code, and specialty nursing standards of clinical practice.
• Adheres to regulatory standards set by organizations such as the AOA, HCFA, and MIOSHA, ensuring individual competence and responsible acceptance of personal actions and judgments in nursing practice.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved registered nursing program.
• Hold a current Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• Obtain BLS certification.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Full-time.
• Daily Work Times: 7:00pm - 7:30am.
• Hrs per Pay Period: 72.
• No On-call.
• Weekends: Yes.
