Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the Role

Provide high-quality nursing care in a Med Surg department, executing physician orders and clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central clinical coordinator, managing care plans and updating the multidisciplinary team on patient conditions.
• Assess discharge needs and collaborate with the team to facilitate seamless patient transitions through the healthcare system.
• Deliver evidence-based patient care and support patient recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
