Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical

Responsibilities

• Performing accurate patient assessments and identifying needs
• Initiating appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition and age
• Providing timely and appropriate documentation in medical records
• Completing and revising interdisciplinary care plans
• Conducting quality improvement assessments

Qualifications And Skills

• Valid RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months
• Preferred: one year of nursing experience and ASLS certification

Key Duties

• Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a 64-bed Med/Surg unit
• Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and teamwork
• Maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and documentation requirements
