REGISTERED NURSE: Medical Procedures Unit - (Call Center)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assistance to the call center agents that support the Medical Procedure sites.
• Perform pre-procedure contact with all procedural patients.
• Assess patient needs and assist with issues related to pre/post procedure concerns including management of Red calls for all procedural sites utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Assist patients in obtaining appropriate prescriptions for procedural preps.
• Adapt communication style to patients representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Use excellent listening skills to receive detailed information.
• Knowledge of internal and external resources to assist in patient needs.
• Collaborate with providers, when necessary, in determining care of the patient.

Qualifications

Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. Minimum of two (2) years recent experience (within five (5) years) in GI Endoscopy.

• BSN
• Experience as a charge nurse or equivalent management skill.
• Proficiency with typing and electronic medical records documentation.
• Proficiency with in-basket management
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Tele-health management experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with others as measured by interview, references, and performance evaluations.

Pay

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81/ hour. Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour. Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour. Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour. Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour. Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour. Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Schedule

Hours/Week: 40 hrs. Shift/Hours/Days: Monday through Friday; 8-hr shifts with varied hours, potential for weekends and/or holidays
