Registered Nurse - Medical PCU Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by applying nursing knowledge compassionately and efficiently. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care in the assigned unit.
• Developing individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostics, and current status.
• Preparing and administering medications and treatments for comprehensive patient care.
• Reconciliating medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring patient responses to interventions and adjusting care as needed.
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure effective planning and delivery of care.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (preferably in a specialized field).
• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• CPR certification from Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
