Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

About the role

Provide compassionate, high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Manage critical support therapies, including ventilators and IV infusions/drips
• Administer medications and perform urgent interventions in response to rapid changes in condition
• Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans focused on safety and quality outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and supportive needs
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow strict infection control practices and comply with regulatory and facility standards
