Registered Nurse - Med Surg Supervisor

Hospitals on Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Med Surg Supervisor in the Lanham, MD area. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities within the Med Surg unit.
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care through supervision and delegation of tasks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to staff nurses.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Participate in performance evaluations and professional development planning for staff.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Med Surg unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and equipment to enhance patient care.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
- At least 5 years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Experience in Med Surg or related areas preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Completion of a BSN program.
- Completion of a relevant certification or advanced degree in nursing.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
