Responsibilities

• Affirms and collaborates in planning patient discharge needs and readiness for discharge.
• Participates in departmental and hospital improvement plans.
• Functions as a positive role model for peers and promotes a professional image of Iberia Medical Center.
• Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational data.
• Lives by Iberia Medical Center Standards of Performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.
• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of nursing process and principles.
• Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
