Role Overview: Lead the recovery process for orthopedic patients by developing and implementing specialized care plans focused on pain management, wound care, and safe mobility restoration. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons and physical therapists to ensure treatment aligns with long-term functional goals. Monitor patient progress closely, identifying subtle changes to prevent complications and promote safe recovery. Educate patients and support systems, providing discharge planning and resources to facilitate successful reintegration into daily life. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse with active credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing.BLS certification within one month of employment (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
