About the Role
Winter Haven Hospital, part of BayCare Health System, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical Oncology Unit. The hospital is recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and improving community health. The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process and established clinical standards, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, prioritizes patient needs, and ensures safe, high-quality care on a Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on plans of care
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to support staff
- Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
- Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 6 months RN acute care experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Schedule
Full‑time, non‑exempt position on Shift 3 (Nights) from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Required to work every other weekend. No on‑call or remote work expectations.
