Registered Nurse - (Med/Surg/Oncology) - Full Time Nights

About the role

The RN utilizes the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on his/her assigned unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice.
• Serves as a resource to other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assists in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participates in ongoing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required At Time Of Hire.
• At Time Of Hire, St. Joseph’s Health requires certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required At Time Of Hire.
• At Time Of Hire, St. Joseph’s Health requires certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.

Pay

• *Full-time and Part-time Employees-over 20 hours a week
• *Per Diem Employees and Part-time Employees working under 20 hours per week
