Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Multiple Shifts

About the Role

This role involves providing direct nursing care in a 24-bed acute care unit, supporting patients with various medical conditions such as respiratory illnesses, sepsis, diabetes, and hypertension.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans according to policies and protocols.
• Communicating patient conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Carrying out physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assessing and planning for patient discharge in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
