Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the role

This position is for an experienced Med Surg RN supporting a multi-campus care team in a high-impact environment. The RN will deliver personalized, evidence-based care, build strong patient and family relationships, and contribute to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring individualized patient care.
• Foster meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Drive outcomes using clinical expertise and current best practices.
• Promote a collaborative, respectful team environment and engage in performance improvement and research initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, mentorship, and applying evidence-based practices.
• Support resource management and proactive care planning to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience and proficiency with computer data entry.
• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills, with ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic technology tools.
