About the role
Lead high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to stabilize and support complex patients.
Orchestrate the care journey by serving as the central point of contact for all clinical disciplines, ensuring every patient receives a seamless and well-coordinated recovery plan.
Monitor and advocate for patient safety by maintaining a vigilant eye on clinical conditions and documenting care journeys with precision to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Adapt and respond to evolving hospital needs, providing expert nursing support where the hospital’s highest-acuity cases require it most.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to stabilize and support complex patients.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
Preferences
- 3 or more years of nursing experience.
- Med/surg and progressive care trained (chest tubes, cardizem gtt, amiodarone gtt., etc.).
