About the role

Nashville General Hospital is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for their Med Surg Unit.

Responsibilities

• Admitting and assessing patients
• Administering medication and treatments
• Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
• Running and ordering tests
• Coinciding care with Physicians and Specialists
• Charting Patient Progress

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
• Employee must have valid BLS upon hire
• ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
• Valid BLS upon hire
