Registered Nurse - Med Surg

About the role

Hospitals on Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Med Surg in the Memphis, TN area. Applicants with experience in cardiology, coupled care, EKG monitoring, education, fundal massage, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, ostomy care, PCA pumps, traction/cast care, tube feeding management, or wound/drain care are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• One year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Qualifications

• Experience in one of the specified areas (cardiac, coupled care, etc.) is preferred
