Job Summary
Beloit Health System is adding to our team in our Medical/Surgical Unit with immediate openings for a Registered Nurse at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

- Hours per week: 48-60 hours per 2 week pay period

Responsibilities
- Provides primary nursing care for patients in our fast-paced medical surgical department.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery from a variety of medical or surgical conditions.
- Administers intermittent and continuous IV medications and monitors condition changes to optimize patient recovery and accurately documents in the EMR.
- Plans, coordinates, supervises and provides care for clients throughout their life span within the framework of the well/illness continuum.
- Completes documentation according to policy.
- Ensures patient safety while handling, transporting and providing medications to patients; protects patients from various hazards, falls, disease exposure, etc.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.
- State of Wisconsin RN licensure or nursing compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact nursing license, application for a State of Wisconsin RN license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).
- Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
- Employee possesses the training, knowledge, and skills necessary to perform evaluation, treatment, and patient care for patients in one or more of the following age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- May require working in sometimes stressful conditions or irregular hours.

Reports to: Clinical Manager and/or Department Director
Directs: LPN, Nursing Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator
