About the role
Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers in Waverly, TN is seeking a part-time night-shift nurse for its Med Surg department.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor comprehensive patient care plans with a focus on safety, accuracy, and superior outcomes.
- Serve as the primary lead across all disciplines to ensure every patient receives well-coordinated, seamless care.
- Expertly assess, record, and communicate changes in patient conditions to the broader medical team in real-time.
- Precisely carry out physician and nursing orders while maintaining the highest standards of clinical protocol.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate discharge needs, ensuring patients are prepared for a successful transition home.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
