Registered Nurse - Maternity - Part Time (0.75FTE) - Nights with Call

The Registered Nurse promotes patient health by executing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and providing support to patients, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, establish rapport, and deliver compassionate care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and self-care.
• Ensure quality care by adhering to standards, documenting accurately, and maintaining equipment.
• Follow infection control policies, ensure safety, and maintain a clean environment.
• Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and team communication.
• Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered service, managing needs and concerns professionally.
• Maintain supplies, meet licensure and training requirements, and perform related duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree (required).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher, and one or more years of experience.
• Current New York State RN licensure (required); BLS certification (preferred).

Schedule

Night shifts, 0.75 FTE.
