About the role

The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patient health through comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop and implement care plans.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families.
• Ensure quality care by adhering to standards and protocols.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Manage inventory and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
• Manage patient and family concerns professionally.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing and relevant experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support is advantageous.
