About the role

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional responsible for delivering patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner using evidence-based practice standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Registered Nurse license
• One year of ICU experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably within a Neuro ICU
• A minimum of three years to complete a BSN degree if hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen’s)
• Completion of a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice

Qualifications

• BSN preferred but not required for those hired before certain dates
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card may be required

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $43.49 - $56.10/hr depending on experience.
