Responsibilities

• Lead the Specialty Clinic team—coaching, staffing, and building a culture of safety, quality, and respect
• Partner closely with the Director of Specialty Services and the Supervisor of Scheduling & Referral Coordination to optimize schedules, referrals, and access
• Standardize and improve workflows to enhance throughput, reduce wait times, and strengthen the patient experience
• Monitor key metrics (flow, access, quality indicators) and drive continuous improvement
• Champion patient safety and regulatory readiness in the ambulatory environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of varied RN experience, including ≥1 year in ambulatory care
• 2+ years supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare
• Active RN license in the U.S. (Alaska or ability to obtain)

• Compensation & Incentives: Pay: $50–$70 per hour DOE
• Incentives: Up to $25K sign-on and $10K relocation for qualified hires (paid per policy)

Additional Details

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience: 5 years of varied clinical nurse experience including 1 year in the ambulatory care environment, 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience in the health care field
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska OR licensed in another State and obtain Alaska license within 6 months of hire, Active BLSClinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years, Manager Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
• Knowledge: Knowledge of the nursing process and the ability to apply this in the working environment, Knowledge and demonstrated use of customer service principles, Knowledge and demonstrated use of safety and infection control principles
• Skills: In Clinical skills including a complete assessment, anticipation of needs, and specimen collection, Technical skills including use of equipment such as computers and medical equipment, Application of effective oral and written communications skills, Effective leadership skills, in a healthcare environment
• Abilities: Ability to multi-task and work independently in fast paced environment, Ability to maintain compliance with annual competencies, Ability to problem-solve and use conflict resolution skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments, Ability to anticipate needs of others and to seek help when appropriate, Ability to move at a quick pace, stand for long periods of time, ability to bend, stoop, climb and move to the floor
