Registered Nurse/LPN - Ebensburg

About the role

Adelphoi is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (LPN or RN) for its Ebensburg, PA location. The position works daylight hours Monday–Friday with some flexibility in schedule, requires approximately 10% travel (mileage reimbursed) among four Adelphoi sites, and includes participation in an on‑call rotation for medical triage (stipend and flex time provided).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce policies related to Medication Management.
• Train staff monthly in Oral/Non‑Oral Medication Administration and Adelphoi’s Health Policy.
• Maintain staff medication administration recertification.
• Educate clients, staff, and families on disease processes, medications, and treatments.
• Conduct audits for Medication Cart and Infection Control Surveillance and Prevention.
• Oversee medication management for youth in group living settings.
• Triage, assess, and treat chronic and acute medical needs of youth.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed interventions.
• Perform health assessments and provide recommendations.
• Complete required reports and nurse’s notes promptly.
• Intervene in crisis situations and maintain certification in Safe Crisis Management.
• Travel monthly to Hollidaysburg, Duncansville, and Williamsport (10% travel; mileage reimbursement provided).
• Participate in on‑call rotation for medical triage (stipend and flex time provided).
• Participate monthly in the medication committee, helping to steer policy and medication‑related changes.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Associate of Science in Nursing (BSN or ADN) required for RN; appropriate certification for LPN.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in youth or psychiatric care settings.
• Licensure: current RN license valid in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required for RN (LPN must hold valid PA LPN license).

Pay

RN: $62,000 – $65,000 annually. LPN: starting at $25 per hour.

Schedule

Daylight, Monday–Friday position with some flexibility in hours required; approximately 10% travel monthly between Ebensburg, Hollidaysburg, Duncansville, and Williamsport.
