Registered Nurse Lead - PRN

About the Role

Responsible for overseeing daily operations of nursing personnel in patient care units, providing leadership and direction to clinical staff, and coordinating activities with other departments to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise patient care delivery during assigned shifts, ensuring proper staffing and smooth unit operations.
• Coach and counsel team members, monitor performance, and address training needs.
• Maintain documentation of staffing, operational, and administrative records in compliance with policies.
• Support and guide nursing staff while promoting patient dignity and rights, and facilitate communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Preferred 5–7 years of clinical experience and 2 years of leadership or management experience.
• Required certifications include BLS.
