Registered Nurse - Lead Preceptor

Unit: Adult Psych Unit
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00a - 4:30p, flexibility required

As the RN Lead Preceptor

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Develop and support the next generation of behavioral health nurses
• Help shape a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care

Work

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility based on unit and training needs
No 12-hour shifts and no direct patient assignment

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor

Partnering with leadership to promote evidence-based practice, professional growth, and high-quality patient care

Contribute to a unit that cares for adult patients 18+

• Primary psychiatric diagnoses
• Involuntary commitments
• Supporting staff in de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions

Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team

• Values education, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
• In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
