Registered Nurse, Lead
About the role
The Lead Registered Nurse position is aimed at providing quality service to patients, making independent nursing diagnoses, and developing and implementing dynamic teaching plans based on patient needs. The role involves providing patient triage via telephone and in-clinic, and other applicable RN duties. The position supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the Stillwater Medical Group.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to patients, make independent nursing diagnoses, and develop plans for care.
- Create and implement dynamic teaching plans based on patient need.
- Act as a resource for other staff members.
- Provide clinical and workflow leadership for day-to-day functions within assigned area, including patient triage via telephone and in-clinic.
- Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Stillwater Medical Group.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure for MN and WI.
- Current BLS certification ACLS preferred.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Excellent customer service skills; tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions with patients/families/clinic staff members.
- Demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions.
- Understand patient education needs, able to effectively share information with others.
- Plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
- Remain calm in stressful situations.
- Experience in leadership role preferred.
