Registered Nurse - Lead

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide operational support and staff mentorship in a surgical department. Key Responsibilities Include Monitoring daily workflows and performance metrics to optimize department efficiency.Collaborating with leadership on daily operations, staff training, and problem-solving.Addressing performance and quality concerns, participating in performance reviews.Supervising and mentoring staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.Assisting with staff scheduling, attendance, and training manual development.Leading or participating in staff and department meetings.Demonstrating professional nursing standards, adhering to ANA Code of Ethics, and maintaining safety protocols.Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.Minimum of two years’ registered nurse experience.Valid RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Licenses must be current in respective states (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) or from a compact state. Skills Required Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. This role involves day shifts, with a focus on team leadership and operational excellence in a hospital environment.
