Registered Nurse - Lactation Consultant

Role: Full-time Registered Nurse-Lactation Consultant in the Pediatric Department, providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families. Responsibilities Promote breastfeeding and develop standards of care, guidelines, and programs to support breastfeeding mothers.Organize information and create marketing materials to encourage breastfeeding, collaborating with departments like Pediatrics, Family Practice, and OB/GYN for patient education. Qualifications & Skills: Associates Degree in Nursing.Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and lactation consulting from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).Experience with clinical skills, evidenced by two recommendation letters, including at least one from a physician or nurse practitioner.Active RN license and lactation consultant certification.
