Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Per Diem

About the role

This nursing position involves providing professional care in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. The nurse assesses patient conditions, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and documents observations. They delegate appropriate tasks to staff and work collaboratively as part of a team to meet unit goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification within six months of hire
• Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months
• Preferred: Labor and delivery experience
