This Registered Nurse role in the Labor & Delivery unit involves providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to pregnant patients during labor, obstetrical emergencies, and postpartum. The nurse monitors fetal and maternal well-being, supports patients through labor, and educates on pregnancy and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for labor and delivery patients.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and collaborate with patients and families to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and obstetrical emergencies.
• Provide education on pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Relevant obstetric and fetal monitoring experience.
