About the role
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a contract opportunity in Winfield, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the care team
- Monitor laboring patients and fetal heart rates
- Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals as ordered
- Assist in deliveries and emergency C-sections
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers
- Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and follow clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (or willing to obtain)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent L&D nursing experience required
- Strong assessment skills and calm, confident demeanor in high-stress situations
- Caregiving, patient-first mindset
