Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Full-Time Nights)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and cultural competence to deliver patient-centered care that respects diversity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor to promote professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in research activities.
• Utilize clinical technology proficiently to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
