Part-time, 12-hour day shift position in the Nampa Birkeland Maternity Center.

About the role

We are seeking a devoted Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our team. This role has a profound impact on individuals, families, and the community. Located at our Medical Center off I-84 and Garrity Blvd in Nampa, Idaho, this position involves working in the Birkeland Maternity Center, providing both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care based on patient census. The part-time schedule consists of two shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Unit Highlights

  • Average of 100 deliveries each month
  • 20 private LDRP suites
  • 2 operating rooms
  • 4 NICU beds (Level II, 34 weeks to term)

RNs in this unit may be required to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.

Requirements

  • Prior nursing experience desired, preferably in LDRP
  • Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho prior to hire date. If multistate license, must establish residency with Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire
  • Must provide licensure or proof of application in the state of Oregon for RN license within 90 days of hire
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification
  • ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date
  • PALS, STABLE, and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date
