Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecological, and newborn patients
- Maintain monitoring of maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies
- Recover and monitor patients following cesarean deliveries
- Conduct ongoing maternal and newborn assessments
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatric providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC/Stork EMR
- Utilize OBIX fetal monitoring technology to support labor management and clinical documentation
- Float to other women’s services areas as needed
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License required
- Minimum 4-5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- EPIC/Stork EMR experience required
- Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Strong fetal monitoring, labor management, maternal/newborn assessment, and obstetric emergency skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
Schedule
Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
12-hour shifts | 36hrs per week
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Floating required as needed
Pay
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,506
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,260
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246
