Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery

Overview

About the role

RMT labor and delivery is a level IV perinatal center providing high level, quality care to all spectrums of the obstetrical patient. It is comprised of 27 inpatient beds, 10 bed OB Emergency department, 4 OR's including a fetal surgery suite, HR transport, and 6 bed PACU.

Responsibilities

• Critical assessment skills
• Fetal monitoring and assessment
• Training for US PIV placement, Belmont rapid infuser, OBERT rapid assessment team, and simulation training
• Bereavement support for mothers and families
• Opportunity to join Periop team who is involved in OR cases including complex surgeries and fetal surgeries

Requirements

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Pay

$30,000 sign-on bonus available for part-time and full-time roles.
