Registered Nurse - IV/Transfusion Services

Role Overview: This registered nurse position involves providing comprehensive patient care within the IV Transfusion Service, including blood transfusions, vascular access placement, and patient assessment across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency peripheral IV placements, blood transfusions, and assess for adverse reactions.Manage vascular access devices such as PICC lines, Midlines, and implanted ports, including insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Educate patients and families, coordinate care transitions, and support nursing practice across various settings.Serve as a resource for catheter care and troubleshooting, and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience.Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.Proficiency with electronic medical records and adaptability to flexible schedules.Valid RN license, BLS certification, and relevant specialty certifications as required.
