About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in infusion, hematology, and oncology settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing interventions accordingly
- Manage chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, ensuring safe handling and administration
- Perform comprehensive assessments, including psychosocial and educational needs
- Monitor and manage pain, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate discharge plans
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV therapy, vascular access, and diagnostic procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
- Participate in ongoing education
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Skills
- Oncology or infusion experience, including IV and phlebotomy skills
- Certification in oncology or chemotherapy/biotherapy
- Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC and phone triage
- Ability to perform complex procedures and manage medication safety
Pay
Competitive pay ranging from $35.00 to $63.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
