Registered Nurse - Infusion Services

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of assigned patients using data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Provide appropriate age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and visitors.
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff.
• Apply standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
• Contribute to department performance by precepting and mentoring novice employees.
• Support department growth through hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrate continued professional growth by setting goals and participating in educational offerings.
• Float to assist in other like units as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Advanced resuscitative certification appropriate to population if serving in a charge nurse role.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse licensure.

Schedule

Full-time, 72 hours biweekly.
