REGISTERED NURSE - INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY PRE-OP/RECOVERY
About the Role
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Responsibilities include supervising and providing care utilizing the nursing process and therapeutic use of self.

The Radiology & IR Departments are located in the basement of the hospital and serve both outpatient and inpatient populations, including infants and adults. Nurses in this department either prepare and recover patients following procedures or assist interventional radiologists during procedures. Some nurses may also work at MD Anderson for scheduled radiologic cases.
Requirements
- 2 years of Critical Care experience required
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) upon hire
- Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) upon hire
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) upon hire
- Current PALS Certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 3 months of employment
Schedule
- 2 - 10-hour shifts per week
- Shift hours: 07:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- No call requirement
