Registered Nurse/Interventional Radiology

Position Details

Special Requirements
Radiology department nursing involves prep and recovery of procedural patients, moderate sedation in Interventional Radiology for CT, US, and IR cases. Care includes both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include MRI monitoring of pacemaker patients, anxiolysis for exams, and medication administration for nuclear medicine patients. Procedures include biopsies, tubes, lines, drains, lytics, thrombectomies, neuro, body, vascular, and liver embolizations. Utilize Air pal for safe patient movement in IR rooms and ceiling lift in CT rooms. NK monitors with EtCO2 monitoring are used.
Responsibilities
- Prep and recovery of procedural patients
- Moderate sedation in Interventional Radiology for CT, US, and IR cases
- MRI monitoring of pacemaker patients
- Anxiolysis for exams
- Medication administration for nuclear medicine patients
- Assist with procedures including biopsies, tubes, lines, drains, lytics, thrombectomies, neuro, body, vascular, and liver embolizations
- Utilize Air pal for safe patient movement in IR rooms and ceiling lift in CT rooms
- Use NK monitors with EtCO2 monitoring

Requirements
