About the role

The Emergency Department is located on the main floor at Parkview Regional Medical Center. The unit has 48 beds, and they can flex up to 60 beds using double rooms. The ER at PRMC treats patients of all different ages with medical, surgical, and mental health needs. The level of acuity can vary greatly from a basic medical issue to a level 1 trauma.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all different ages with medical, surgical, and mental health needs.
• Work in a unit that can flex up to 60 beds using double rooms.
• Handle a wide range of acuity levels from basic medical issues to level 1 trauma.

Requirements

• Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN.
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required.
• CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
